Yea my love for Biriyani has stayed forever..Reminds me of the good old days in Bangalore where streets of Koramangala used to be filled with the lovely aroma of the famous Hyderabadi biriyani during ramzan and how I used to enjoy every bit of it..Being a biriyani lover,I was always in search of a good place that serves serves authentic Hyderabadi biriyani. Initial experiments were disappointing and it was also a realisation that here they Americanize everything..But even Biriyani??Sadly yes!! But very soon my wife found out Biriyani Pot and we decided to try it the very next day(Biriyani effect). We reached Biriyani pot around 8pm and got parking very easily. I hate to go to few restaurants in new jersey because of parking issues but biriyani pot told me a different story. We were greeted with a smile by the restaurant staff.Ambience was good and tables were very neat. I just went through the menu (fair pricing)even though we had decided our menu earlier .We ordered one mutton biriyani (goat biriyani) and one special chicken biriyani. Biriyani came to our table with in minutes and the aroma had stolen my soul. Biriyani was super awesome and it was in authentic Hyderabadi style. Only one advise I would like to give about Biriyani pot is that they accept only visa or MasterCard. So please carry Visa card or MasterCard. Overall it was a wonderful experience and my rating is 9/10.Definitely Biriyani Pot is a last stop for Biriyani lovers in New jersey.Follow my instagram channel for more reviews at : deepuzz89

I tried Chicken 65 biryani, mutton keema biryani and mutton soup.Mutton soup was tasty with earthy taste complemented with lots of Cilantro leaves, onion shoots and garlic. The meat was well cooked with bones just leaving the meat.Mutton keema biryani was delectable. It just had the right flavors and was not chewy at all. It was not very spicy either.Chicken 65 biryani had ample well cooked chicken. The flavors were always there.Biryani has onion, lime and boiled egg for garnishing. It is served with raita and salan.
best biryani in Indian st, forget the so-called over hyped name in same st…I was fed up with paradise biryani… if you go to lunchtime over there, they serve y’day leftovers so I was really looking for some good restaurants around this area. I tried biryani pot and I got my taste. even we reached there after 11, we had really good chicken and mutton biryani. Staff was courteous. The ambiance was good. try their Mutton Biryani. Quantity is sufficient for 2 normal people.
We checked here to have some dinner after a tiring outing in JC. Ordered Biryani which was good. It was less spicy. They took a long time to deliver food to table which was frustrating. Anyway food was good as per price
