This is my favorite restaurant in Jersey City. I often come here for lunch and dinner. And when I come I Always always always order Dynamite Shrimp and Crab bites(highly recommend- they have the best )my ultimate favorite. For entree chicken and biscuit ( a must try) and be careful while ordering the main course they have big portions good enough for two people to share and cheesecake, obvious they have the best cheesecake. Also, if you are looking for yummy food with massive options then this is the place with lovely ambience. Service is very good. Staff is very nice and attentive. Weekends are usually busy. Wait line is sometimes 20-25 mins.
We ate here with friends (who are locals) During our recent trip to the United States (we are from australia).our table had a range of meals which ranged from pasta, to steak diane, to the herb crusted salmon. and as dessert, we ordered a number of cheesecakes to try.Service wise..outstanding!The young lady (im sorry i forgot your name) who served us not only knew the menu like the back of her hand, she was completely entertaining and funny! Personally it was the best experience that i have had ordering food and to be fair, the place was really busy when we arrived and she kept her cool the whole time.Atmosphere. it was packed and busy, but we could still talk and didnt need to scream over each other. the booths were comfy and cosy. The Food. The steak was cooked perfectly. i always ask for mine medium rare and it was on point. my partner had the salmon and i tried some. Cooked to perfection. It was all tasty and the portion sizes generous but not over the top huge as alot of other places that we dined in while in america were. It was all just right. The Cheesecakes- Being that this is one of my utter fave desserts, i was probably going to be harsh in my criticism but i have to say they were AMAZING!!!Being a purist…the vanilla bean was my personal fave but the key lime, oreo and hazelnut were equally nice.Great experience all round and definitely will return when we are next back over the pond!
As a rule I love cheesecake factory. Most locations are comparable with regard to food, service and cleanliness. This is the Bermuda triangle of cheesecake factories. My friends and I go here around 8:30-9:00 when we have more than an hour to kill and don’t mind laughing at the length of time it takes for someone acknowledge we have been sitting at a table, around 10 or more minutes. Drinks take another 5-10 minutes and bread is about another 5-10 minutes. Entrees usually arrive 30-45 minutes after you order. The food is generally well prepared. Eye contact from the team is hard to obtain. The service is consistently poor, I make this statement after monitoring the service speed and quality for about 8 months. I have been seated among other guests while a number have been raising their hands like over zealous school children trying to obtain someone’s attention to either get a refill, inquire about the status of their order or get their check. The bathroom floor in the men’s room was like a skating rink, slippery and wet. Enough said.If you go here pack your patience. I hope they improve their service practices. Jersey city needs a cheesecake factory, a good one.
Of the many many lunch with work people and dinner with friends I decided to write a review today after my take away, always reliable food, excellent service, variety of dishes and cocktails. Not to forget the cheese cake selections, easily one of my favorite places in JC, try their Chicken mediana, meat loaf lunch special, french style shrimp ravioli.
food was not up to mark… others cheesecake outlets offer great taste It was my brother bday dinner party and we decided to come here. I have been to 5-7 diff cheesecake factory so I know its safe bet instead to try new placeWe got our table giving it was Saturday but our server was bit slow. She took almost 45 minutes to bring our food and all the tables were not occupied. In the appetizer, we ordered sushi and dumplings and it was goodIn entree, we ordered orange chicken, Jamaican black pepper shrimp, bang bang chicken and shrimp and fresh grill salmon.I am not sure but all were blunt in taste and u have tried black pepper shrimp in West Hartford, CT, so I was not sure chef was not capable to make it worth or what. We did not enjoy our food that much.Cocktails were good but prices were on bit higher side. Means $14 for one mojito.??? Never Less though to say ambiance. It was good. And yes, thanks to them to singing happy bday song for my brother
