El blando. Is there such a thing as bland Mexican food? Yes. At La Esperanza. No hope for tasty flavor here.
Great Mexican Food, Yummy Drinks. They have great traditioal Mexican food. You get a lot of food for your money. I love the FAT ALEX burrito! I enjoy taking home leftover for lunch and dinner the next day. Huge selection of tequila and yummy margaritas. The customer service is fabulous, they are family owned and operated and treat customers like part of the family.
Bad customer service. Used to be a regular here and would go here to eat at least twice a week. my husband and i would ordered the same thing exact thing every time we went here for years. one day we went there and a different older woman took our order. she didnt really understand english well and she messed our order all up. when we told her it wasnt right she flipped out and then yelled at US in front of a whole restaurant full of people- not once, not twice, but three separate times. we were so embarrassed that we left. i told them we wouldnt be returning ever again and didnt appreciate being yelled at like that. the girls that are usually were the ones that wait on the customers looked rather embarrassed and apologized but after that it didnt really matter to us. i also realize that nothing will be done about this because i think she is one of the owners. such a waste. oh well there are hundreds of mexican joints around here and all of them are more then happy to take our money so we will be spending our money at one of those places. STAY AWAY unless you feel like being berated.
Wonderful!. This is my third favorite Mexican place of all time!! Authentic, well prepared, great portion size and yummy. The chicken tortilla soup is quite tasty. The Fat Alex burrito is insane. Nice selection of Tequilas as well. The only two that top this place are El Vez, and Tajas Grill.
Try The Guacamole. The guacamole is literally the best around. It is fresh, creamy, not too spicy (unless you so choose) and it adds a nice addition to the fresh fajitas (also recommended). The key to their Guacamole is the freshness. It’s worth the trip just for that.On these hot days, a Tecate beer with the guacamole is a great and enjoyable way to start your meal.
Excellent!! You definitely should go and try it. Even if you not a huge fan of mexican, you’ll find something you will enjoy.
