  First and foremost the place is very expensive. Think New York City steakhouse in the middle of Little Falls, NJ. David Burke would be proud. The decor is outdated and the atmosphere is stuffy. The bar near the entrance is quite cliche and improper businessmen trying to illicit favors with more than willing females ruins it further. Now for the good part. Food is as expected–not exceptional. Antipasti has that certain Italian old-country feel but the steak, perhaps the most important part of the meal since it is a steakhouse, was just acceptable. That wow factor was not present. I treat each restaurant without bias and never comparing it to other restaurants of it’s kind but one can’t help it. The dinner overall was pleasant, not something I want from an expensive steakhouse. That need for something more, something tangible caused me to left wanting after visiting this place. If asked if I would visit this place in the future my answer is no, however the place does have potential if they simply work out the kinks.

  Rehersal Satisfied. Was there friday for a rehersal dinner. I and the other food junkies in the group thought that they crushed it. The rigatoni with panchetta – tomato sauce was good. really good. The pasta wa a perfect starchy al dente, and the sauce was balanced. The salads were salads for a large party (20+) so no judement there. The wine was flowing, so maybe that impacted this review, but when my Salmon came out and my wife’s hanger steak arrived i soon learned that these were two of the most perfectly executed pieces of meat i have ever had (says a lot since i used to work my share of the grill stations where i worked). The salmon has a good almost crust to the exterior, while the inside was incredibly warm yet juicy. My wife’s hanger was a picturesque perfect medium. Warm, pink and glowing. It was a thing of beauty. Was disappointed that the veg was supposed to be smothered leeks and turned out to be broccoli rabe, but whatever. After four courses we went back to our hotel and passed out from a pleasant food coma. Kudos to whomever was working the grill that day!

  Great place. Went there for lunch on friday….phenomenal food. Had the lobster club sandwich, and also the filet mignon special. great food, at reasonable price. Service was also great.
