Been going here for about 40 years and it hasn’t changed AT ALL ! I mean that in a good way. The pupu platters are the very same ones I ate off of as a kid, same food , still good stuff.
Time stands still inside of Lee’s. Everything inside this place is original from the 70s. Awesome decor and the food is pretty good. The pupu platter is a must-order appetizer and they even have karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights!
Oooww. Envision the most cheesiest 70’s Hawaiian decor you can think of. THIS is where you’ll find all of that…but guess what? I LOVE it!…and you’ll love it too, damnit! The corner booths are set-up like faux tiki huts with a big conch shell hanging on top…it made me feel like a 5 yr. old in a Hawaiian playhouse…I was all giddy & whatnot. This place has been family owned since my friend can remember & the quality of the Polynesian/Chinese food has not changed. Really good food, decent prices…because it’s family-run & mostly everyone knows each other, they make sure you’re well taken care of.The alcoholic beverages were *eh*, but you’re not there to discover exotic drinks…you’re there to enjoy some good food, beneath a big ol’ conch shell…as you wonder if your parents thought a joint like this was bad-ass back in the 70’s.Lee & Me are homies…I’ll let you be his homie too.
