Pleasantly surprised! After reading so many reviews about dry chicken and raw potatoes, I wasn’t expecting much. Lo and behold, it was freaking delicious chicken! Juicy, flavorful, perfect skin. Potato very good also. Rib was good too, but I was getting so full on the chicken that I loved that the poor rib didn’t stand a chance. Overall it’s a LOT of meat, and as a sometimes-meat-eater, I wasn’t prepared for such quantities. I couldn’t finish all of any one thing (except the initial soup and bread – also tasty). But better too much than too little, no? Apple pastry at the end was also very tasty, not too sweet and perfectly gooey inside and flaky crispy exterior. I finished that too. Well done, MT! Oh but I DID order a beer that never arrived. I didn’t pay for it yet so I didn’t lose $, but still kind of annoying… I suggest you order at the bar beforehand and take it in with you. Our waiter for food was really nice and although said he was new, was courteous and communicative and efficient.
Magnificent show. Decent food. Fun night.
