Taste of Portugal right in Matawan. I had the mixed picadinho as an appetizer and it was delicious, so flavorful as well as plentiful. My wife had filet mignon cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed my seafood chateau in green sauce ( they also have a red sauce or a white wine sauce that the waiter In the bar area let me know about ) . My experience was terrific they really make you feel like you’re having dinner at a family member’s house. I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys delicious, fresh, and savory food!
Feh, feh, feh. Had a $40 Groupon (cost me $20) + another $25 after tip/tax/etc. Food is diner quality. Wife had raw veal chops, I had horrible baby back ribs, and the crab meat stuffed scallops was akin to a Costco app-a-teaser ! The salad (lettuce from Costco) was lazy and drenched in oil. Best part of the meal ? the rolls and the service.
