This is my wife and my favorite sushi place. The ambiance is great and the food is even better. If you go on a busy summer night be prepared to wait but the equity is well worth it.
Don’t make a reservation. Don’t bother making a reservation as they just tell you whatever you want to hear then once you get there they know you’ll be hard pressed to go anywhere else and will sit you whenever they can. The food is ok for the shore but nothing you’ll rush back for. The service is what you would expect from summer help. The sushi is fresh so if you want to sit at the sushi bar you won’t have to wait for a table.
Great sushi in Rio Grande! $75 for three people is a great price considering the prices of other restaurants around the area. Great fish! I would highly recommend any of the special rolls.
AMong my best experiences ever. We loved this place. We liked Tokyo – their other place – the food and service is all good at both. But this one has such a lovely warm feeling inside from all the real wood. Very comforting. The hibachi tables are fun to watch…. but I like the menu options better.
