My favorite Sushi on the shore. Chef Jackie wil go out of his way to make you happy.
Hidden treasure- great quality sushi. One of the best sushi experiences in the coastal Monmouth area. A small warm-feeling wood toned dining area with some booths, and two hibachi rooms. Excellent service every visit. Prices range from very reasonable-to- slightly $$. Owner/chef is extremely helpful in suggesting new choices. Midweek, it is not very busy but can be busy on weekends. Non-sushi items- teriyaki, tempura, etc- are also really well made. Care goes into this place.Favorites so far: the Rock and Roll is great at $14. The basil tempura appettizer is also great as is the dessert of Mushi ice cream – ice cream chunks coated in rice flour with green tea or vanilla dustings- or the fried cheesecake.
