They lost my business!. I have lived in Lincroft for 23 years. Ever since Sakura opened I have been going there religiously. The food is great, and i always order the same thing. I ordered it tonight, and they forgot to put the spicy mayo on it that is always there (its the best part and the reason i get the roll). I called and spoke to the woman who answered the phone and she said they usually put in on the bottom of the container (it wasnt there). she put her boss on the phone and he started YELLING and saying they were busy tonight and he makes all the sushi by hand and that the roll that I have been getting for at least 10 years doesn’t usually have spicy mayo on it. He kept yelling and being extremely rude so i politely said i will take my business elsewhere. Other reviews i have read also complain about the new ownership. This is my first AND LAST bad experience with them.
You can’t find better sushi than Sakura Sushi! I’ve been a loyal customer ever since they opened and their sushi never gets old! Even when I eat other sushi nothing can compare to Sakura sushi. And whenever I travel I miss Sakura Sushi! I always come back to eat there.

The worst. New ownership, used to be good. Impersonabe staff, rude, no hot tea (gave me hot tap water), and the food was gross and had no flavor. Ive never had such a bad experience anywhere and I’m sorry to say, this place now has less taste and class than a school cafeteria.
Well my father and I used to absolutly love this hole in the wall. However there has been a recent change in ownership. After that things went downhill. To anyone who found the food was good you should have seen it before hand. I’m still liking for a new sushi place.
Sakura Sushi is a very small yet friendly restaurant. The eating area is very small; there are only a few tables surrounding a somewhat small sushi bar. But don’t let the size dissuade you because the sushi is amazing! Each item on the menu is loaded with enormous amounts of flavor. Not only is the food delicious but the service is quick and extremely friendly.
