    NO Truth in pricing!. I visited the Saveur Creole website to look at the menu for meal types and pricing. I went to the restaurant and ordered five meals. I was not happy the food was ready to receive a bill that was significantly higher than they listed on the online menu. The online price for each ordered meal is $28.00, but they charged $37.00 per meal! The manager gave the sorriest of excuses. I so not recommend this restaurant!

    Food 3, Service1. We were a dinner party of 6. The staff was extremely accommodating during the reservation process ( we increased the size of our party from 3 to 6). Regrettably, that was the only positive aspect of our dining experience. When the opening course was brought out to half of our party, we were informed that they had run out of the jambalaya (a staple dish) and that the half of our party who was not served would need to wait another 15 or so minutes until more could be cooked. In order to keep the dinner moving and not having half of our group waiting while the other half ate, the unserved changed their order to something that was ready. Bear in mind this was at 7:30 pm which was quite early for Saveur Creole to run out of an appetizer. This was a tip off of the horrendous service that was to follow.When the main courses were brought out, one person was not served. After waiting 15-20 minutes without any explanation from the staff, when we could finally get the attention of our waiter to ask where the missing course was, we really didn’t get an answer. Several minutes later, the last member of our party finally was served. Of the 6 entrees served, 5 were served cold. Only one entree was served properly warm…you guessed it, that was the entree for the person who had to wait 20-25 minutes after everyone else at the table was served.To add insult to injury, when the bill arrived, we were amazed to see that a 20% gratuity had been added to our bill. When we questioned the manager and relayed our experience to her, she ungraciously offered to reduce the bill and chastised us for not bringing the problems to her attention sooner. I guess in her estimation, a manager is not supposed to keep an eye on the efficiency of the service and the well being of her customers. We declined her insincere offer, paid the full bill, including the ridiculous 20% gratuity. It is really a shame that the service and experience rated a 1 on a 5 point scale because the food, once you got past the fact that it was served cold, was quite tasty.
