I went to Sushi Hana last weekend. I went in around 630pm and it was pretty empty. I ordered a sweet potato roll which was pretty good but I still prefer Maguro in Rochelle Park. I also ordered chicken in garlic-ginger. It had a nice taste but I wish there were bigger pieces of chicken in it. My tomato was kind of sad in my otherwise tasty salad.
I have had my fair share of bad sushi in NJ but I have been there many times because the sushi is amazing and they have never done me wrong. Anything including their peanut sauce as an ingredient is to die for. They have a nice selection of tea’s and food. Service is usually on the slow side but the food makes up for it ;)I will continue to come here as my main sushi spot.
Bad Sushi = Bad Night. Is there anything worse than sushi that isn’t fresh? In the culinary world, I don’t think so. I had the worst, fishy sushi I’ve ever had at this establishment. I will never go back. Never. I can barely walk past the place without feeling sick. Go to Dai-Kichi in Upper Montclair, you’ll be happy you did!
Good Stuff. Went here with a friend a while back and everything was good. Nothing too out-of-the-ordinary to write about, the food and the service were both great. I particularly remember the soft-shell crab being really good.
Best Sushi Around. I love this place because the quality of the fish is always great and they are very creative with their special rolls. I just walk in, sit down, and order off the special menu. Never open the menu. Just trust the sushi chefs to make something awesome. Great service as well. Recommend it to everyone.
