Very good local Turkish spot. Excellent Cigara Borek! Chicken kabob is always juicy and delicious (not overcooked like so many other places)! Love the HOME-MADE gyro… not some frozen hunk of fake gyro meat! Great place, very nice people! We regularly drive over here from Boonton (20 minutes), for one of our favorite meals.
Iskender not so good. I was driving by one day and I thought I’d give it a shot. I have ordered Iskender kebab as usual. Service was pretty good and it was a pretty decent atmosphere. However the Iskender was served with store bought pita bread and the meat was pretty bland. This was back in 2005, haven’t been to this place recently.
