OMG! Again, foodie from Austin, TX with lots of food sensitivities and a real sushi snob…read the reviews on this place and they were promising so we tried it out. So glad Harry below mentioned they have no liquor license…we stopped at Cambridge Wines across the street and picked up some cold saki. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman who we later found out was the owner. Our waitress, Sylvia, was was wonderful! The food was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. I have a soy allergy and 2 of the 4 of us have gluten and egg allergies. Sylvia was so sweet to make sure the rolls were perfect for us. We ordered the Jodi roll, Bruno roll, Santa Monica and the Kamikaze….they were all so fresh and yummy but the Kamikaze was OUTSTANDING! Seriously could have eaten another if I had another stomach. The whole experience was so enjoyable. Sylvia and the owner (didn’t catch her name) were so warm and inviting! They even brought us Mochi ice cream nuggets complimentary to top off a great night. Will have to route ourselves home to TEXAS that way just to have another yummy dinner!

Best service in town? No. I’m here on business and came with 6 other people. This place is quaint and small so it does have it’s charms, the people are nice, until you ask them to split the check. $20 minimum for card payments and the owner refused to split the check without enforcing the minimum $20. We watched the owner stomping her feet in frustration less than 5 feet away from us. For the price, the food was very average. Will never return. If you tolerate this treatment on a night out, this is the place for you.

Asahi best Sushi in Morristown!. The freshest sushi served with lots of style in an intimate atmosphere. I love this place. When we come here we are always greeted in a warm personal way. The food here is awesome. I always love the spicy tuna roll. They have a new menu of sushi rolls just for spring! The owners always go out of the way to change the decor and the menu for each holiday. If you are looking for a great spot for a quiet dinner Asahi in Morristown is perfect! We love to bring visiting friends. If you want to have a party they can accommodate up to 21 easily. If you want to bring some beer or sake its always welcome. They will even warm the Sake up, and keep your beer nice and cool. There is plenty of parking in the lot right behind and its just across from the Morristown Train Station. Come to Asahi, tell them Harry & Laura sent you..you wont have a better meal.

Great service. We recently moved to Morristown and it was our first time in Asahi. What a sweet and polite waitress!!! She had good recommendations, and even gave us complimentary dessert since it was our first time. Sushi was fresh, and prepared very well.Popular place w/ College kids I think but it wasn’t loud.I will definitely be going there again and again.
