I’ve eaten here before and loved it! Today I place an order for pickup, they take my order, then when I show up closed!!! We clear on pickup time, took my order then closed. Unbelievable. Girl inside ignored me when I knocked. Never again. Plenty other places in Morristown.
My husband, in laws, 2 family friends, and I went to Cappia for dinner to celebrate my husband’s graduation from nursing school. It was a perfect choice. I had the pork chop with hot peppers and port wine sauce. The pork was perfectly cooked–moist, not at all dry or chewy–truly delicious. As amazing as the chop was, however, the port wine sauce made this dish sublime. Had it been socially acceptable, I would have licked the plate clean. The service was painfully slow, but we discovered that this was due to the fact that the chef prepares every dish to order. Although I was starting to get surly with hunger by the time our entrees arrived, all was forgiven the second that sauce hit my mouth. Bring a lot of good wine, settle in with good company, and enjoy an amazing meal. Make a reservation, though–the dining room is tiny

Excellent. Had dinner at Cappia on Saturday night. The food was VERY good and the service was excellent. I am kicking myself for not trying this place before! It’s a great value for Morristown and it’s a BYOB which is great. Skip the Urban Kitchen and go to dinner here…You will have twice as good a meal at less than half the price!
ATMOSPHERE!. We just had our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner there last Friday night. WOW! They really know how to create food for one thing! Everything was extremely delicious — and what variety for a truly reasonable price. Many people afterwards told me how much they LOVED the food and the service and the relaxed atmosphere. They don’t rush you from course to course! And it’s just our style to relax and take our tme, enjoying friends and family, some we hadn’t seen in a while, at this very special gathering. So Cappia Cafe suited us perfectly. If you like cozy, but not cramped and Italian cuisine at its best, this place is for you! Not only that, but the managers and servers were SO friendly and just so nice. Thank you Cappia. Thank you John and Anthony! P.S. If you go after 8:00 p.m. the parking meters are free, or else park in the development beyond the main core.
Fantastic!. We get lunch from Cappia very often. Actually for about a year, it was the ONLY place we got lunch from. I have enjoyed everything I’ve eaten from here.
