Good food, nice ambiance. Overall I enjoy this restaurant, both for dinner and happy hour at the outside bar. The food is pretty good, although nothing amazing that I feel it’s quite worth the price. I’ve been there a few times, and it’s been the same… little overpriced, but service is generally good. You may get a waiter who is nice, or who has a slight I’m-classier-than-you air, but nothing majorly irritating. I would still go back here every now and then if you like the atmosphere (especially outside on a nice day) and don’t really care to look at your check at the end. 4/5

Dress Code Nazi. My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel across the street from this restaurant so we went to this establishment for convenience. We were seated by the Hostess and we ordered our drinks and meals. A few minutes later, the same Hostess walked over and told us to remove our hats – we were mortified. My wife wore her college hat and my hat had an American Flag logo. As we were leaving, a card was handed to us and it reads as follows: Dress Code: Effective immediately – No Caps, No Muscle Shirts or Undershirts, No Baggy or Sagging Pants, No Gym Clothes, No Oversized or Logod Shirts, No Pajamas, no Flip Flops or Beach Shoes. The top of the card reads, The dress code will be enforced. Enforced? There are no signs posted and at the very least, someone should have informed us of the dress code at the door – in which case we would have walked out. I always heard that New Jersey was a police state, but this restaurant takes it to a whole new level. The owner might be friends with Michael Nanny Bloomberg. As for the food – no big deal at all. All of the desserts are $9.00 and the cheesecake is so thin, they use whipped cream to hold it up. Folks, you can walk around the area and find really nice places at half the price.

Good But Pricey. My brother & I went on a Thursday & ate at the bar. The eggplant appetizer and sauteed escarole were delicious!! The calamari was good, (a little chewy), but the sweet & sour golden raisin sauce it comes with is awesome! My brother had the ravioli with proscuitto which he loved. My only complaint is the wine is overpriced for the quality it is. The atmosphere alone though is worth a trip!
