Delicious Dinner and Drinks! Half Price Martini’s Every Thursday at the bar. And enjoyed a fantastic entree Lamb Chops Alla Griglia. Can’t wait to go back in the spring and summer and sit out on the patio overlooking the Rancocas Creek.
Have yet to stop in for dinner however lunch never disappoints! Reasonable pricing, beautiful views from the back patio seating area. Try the $20 three course lunch menu, it comes with a glass of house wine as well!
Was here last summer for lunch. I thought food was ok but nothing to celebrate beyond what can be had elsewhere in the area. View was nice but speedboats spoiled it with noise. They put up a huge Budweiser poster on the railing that also hid a good part of the view.
Dissapointing. The service was friendly and somewhat prompt (it was a busy dinner time, the view is great, but unfortunately the food will not give us a reason to return. We ordered drinks, one glass of wine and one white sangria. The first sip of sangria reminded me of something i havent had since i was a kid. After i seen the fruit in it i realized it was canned fruit cocktail. If you like canned fruit cocktail on ice then youll be fine, but if like me you like fresh fruit in your drink dont bother. The calamari was good but the sauce had no flavor,it tasted like watered down pasta sauce and looked more like salsa, either way you couldnt get enough to stick to the calamari because it was too thin.My wifes order was chicken vesuvio as an entree. I have been to many restaurant and can tell the difference between fresh and canned. Now i am not an expert but it tasted to us like condessed canned chicken soup with a few added spices, unfortunately again with no real flavor exept that canned taste. She ate about one quarter of her dinner and then gave up,her comment was how much soup can you chew. I ordered the broccoli rabe and sausage feteccinni. Again little to know flavor, the sausage alone had very little flavor to it. in my absolute honest opinion, tasted like a microwaved weight washers meal, even after using the entire bowl of shredded cheese.overall opinion is alot of what we had, tasted canned or boxed and not fresh with little spices added. The place is pretty pricey but you can get coupons off their web site to cover some of the cost.the view is grest and relaxing but the food needs to be fresher and tastier. It is only my guess but i did see a lot of elderly people dining,i know they generally dont like spicy so perhaps the chefs tone it down.If anyone else visits please write a review,i would love to hear anothers opinion and perhaps the chefs can spice it up a little and add some fresh ingridients.
Great food Horrible service with waitress Tara!. My fianc decided to take me out for a nice dinner and chose Carlucci’s. It was Saturday so we knew there would be a wait. He went to the bar to get a non-alcoholic drink while waiting. He wasn’t acknowledged by the bartenders for a while . Finally the gentleman got his drink and while we waited to be seated. When we sat at our table The back waiters had given us waters immediately. About 7 minutes later our server Tara came and took our drink and appetizer order. We waited and waited. I’ve worked as a waitress in finer dining than Carlucci’s and have never had such horrible service. We had to ask for refills and waited over 12 minutes before we received those. Another 25 minutes and we received our salads. By then we were wondering if our waitress had forgot about us. Now an hour and a half from the time we were seated at our table our dinner finally arrived. By then we were ready to leave. The manager came to our table and asked how everything was. I told him the food was delicious. He noticed I only said food and asked besides the food how was service? I told him it was bad. We explained to him why service was bad, while the server Tara stood there to listen. I didn’t care by then what she heard. The manager apologized for her horrible service and offered dessert but we were beyond ready to go. Tara comes up after the mgr. left and apologized and tried to talk down to us stating that she has been doing this for 8 years. With service like that I never would have said I’ve been doing it for 8 years. By then I was totally finished with the restaurant and the server. The mgr. gave a gift card for the inconvenience but it will not fix the fact that he has such a rude and unproductive server. We were grateful that the manager at least acknowledged the unhappy service. I would go back for the food any day but I will not if it is with Tara. Thank you chef and the management. Shame shame Tara. After 8 years you should be a better server.
Great View and Good Food. Great view overlooking Rancocas River but not much river traffick. Italian food was good and plenty of parking.
Best Veal Parm. We are frequent visitors and I believe they have the best Veal Parmigiana anywhere. It comes with a choice of soup or salad and a side of pasta. They also have the old fashioned wide rigatoni that we don’t see too often anymore.
