If you really want to try authentic Indian food then please don’t even think of going there. Paneer tikka is like burnt hard foam covered in orange color. You can easily identify that they use orange food color because it doesn’t leave your fingers till the next day.Regarding service, they will tell you the ordered food may not be sufficient for a group of people but will never tell you if you are ordering too much unknowingly. For example, we ordered gulab jamun one for each person but they did not tell us that there are 3 pieces in one plate. We ultimately had to get them packed and finally had to throw them as the taste was also not good.
The worst in New Jersey!. I have eaten at MANY Indian Restaurants all up and down New Jersey in the past 12 years. This is by far the worst. I unfortunately had to move away from the Best in Jersey which is Gagan Palace in Stratford. I tried this place and the owner seemed extremely pompous from the start. Their gravies tasted like they were from a jar. I actually had to add salt. It was way too mild, my babies could have eaten it! A poor excuse for an Indian Restaurant. I had better frozen Indian Cuisine. Find somewhere else to go! Drive the extra few minutes and go the Philly or something!
I am new to Indian Cuisine, so I decided to try the lunch buffet. Wow, the different spices and tastes were amazing. Some hot and spicy, some cool and refreshing. A few of the meats could have been more tender, but overall very good for a buffet. I especially liked the fresh mint and cilantro dip for the Naan (flat bread). Clean, and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend for lunch!
Very good. The lamb roganjosh and saag paneer were excellent. The butter chicken was great. The bhindi masala and tandoori chicken were average. I loved the kheer, probably the best I’ve ever had. The carrot halva was good, but not as sweet as other places. Overall I was very happy and would definitely go back.
Amazing! I tried Indian food here for the first time, delicious! Very helpful staff, and nice atmosphere!
This was my first experience with Indian food. The staff was very helpful with selections. The food was spicy but in an unfamiliar way. I would definately visit again.
Great food with authentic flavor in a very service oriented atmosphere
