Went last month with my family, the service was bad! The waiter gave terrible service, She came when she wanted to then when we were leaving we left a $10 tip+ the bitch goes and tell her boss that’s all we left the manager comes out and asks us was everything ok because she wanted a $12 tip all together but her being ungreatful she wanted $6 a piece our meal came up to $120.00. Always except what someone is nice enough to give, and not what you want I would never come here again. Plus the food was nasty they make the mac and cheese with goat milk and cheese ilk
Shockingly Bad. I am sorry, but we were literally shocked at how tasteless the pork chop and whiting fish tasted. The gravy served with the pork chop was tasty, but the chops were barely seasoned. The fish was worse, all of the seasoning was on the outside of the fish. The fish was unbelievably bland.The food was served so fast that we were barely done with one serving of buffalo wings appetizer between the two of us. The food was served warm instead of more on the hot side. The quality of the food was certainly not what I expected. I have eaten to many diners that had better tasting food.On the plus side, the waitress, Yasmine, was very nice. Again, sorry, but I had to be honest. My guests, left half of her food, the whiting fish, on her plate. I am not sure if this is a true reflection of the restaurant or a temporary chef. I don’t plan to find out.
Closed. Is this establishment still open? I have been calling the number for a week. No answer and no voicemail.
Great ambience and tasty food. The service was a bit slow. Check out their alligator bites, tastes like chicken!
I can’t comment on the food, but as a college student in 1999 I worked as a valet parking cars here. The owners, the Kings if my memory serves me right, are really nice people. On a few occasions they fed us and I remember loving whatever they brought us. That is all 🙂
Nice Spot. The liquor ain’t watered down the food is good (not as good as moms) I love the fried craw fish. The atmosphere is nice can be stuffy at times but I can deal with it. First Fridays are a bit to crowded for my taste but Martini Tuesdays is right on the money. The prices are reasonable not to high that they will burn your wallet up but you expect to pay a little extra for a nice place. They keep good bands in there if you like live music which I do a nice change from the radio and being clubbed to death common in NJ. Highly recommended.
Different Experience. I actually enjoyed Delta’s. I went there for a girl’s night out and the food was pretty good. I thought it was pricey for soulfood, but it was good. The only thing that I didn’t like was the crowd and the wait, but the experience was nice for a adult atmosphere with soul food on the menu:)
