Arthur’s in North Brunswick. Thanks for the reviews. Was considering going there tonight but certainly NOT after reading these reviews. When an establishment does not take care of their customers…STOP VISITING…let ’em go under. AND SPREAD THE WORD! Bad Service and poor attitude by the HIRED HELP is unacceptable 100% of the time. The sale they will lose tonight would have more than paid for the discount they refused their loyal customer. And since when is Feb 13th a holiday???
Sad that service sucks now. I crave Arthur’s on a regular basis. I will even drive to NJ from Southern VA to get a burger, caesar salad, cole slaw and pickles from this place. But I will NEVER eat in the restaurant again. Take out only. The food is mouth-watering and amazing, but the service is absolutely horrible. I was there a few weeks ago on one of these trips to get good food, ate in, and between the server forgetting our appetizers, to being rushed out of the restaurant, to the attitude of the server, I will never sit in this restaurant again. Which is very sad, because my family used to go there weekly. The servers used to be so good, my parents would tip in the 40-50% range. The food is so outstanding though, I will always be back for take out.
Decent burgers. Because of a physical impairment, I don’t eat there, but I do get take out burgers from Arthur’s. The burgers taste okay but the regular price increases and the taste inconsistencies make me order from nearby burger places. In other words, they are good but not great. The steak prices were rising way too fast and too hih when I was last their 8 years ago. Decent buffalo wings, pretty good fries and other sandwiches make this a mediocre eatery. The take out service people seem to be decent, although several don’t believe in extendiing themselves too much. This used to be a great place to eat.
A BIG NO WAY !. My hubby bugged me to go here, Should have got right back in my car. Outside was just as bad as inside, dirty and wait staff that could care less. I got the ribs they were not cheap at all. The ribs tasted bad and they must have been, went there on Wed evening and today is Sunday, the first day I feel OK ! I would never eat here again. I guess it’s just a so so barSave your hard earned money!!!!!!!!!!!
Downhill. The service has most often been unsatisfactory, but the steaks in the past have always been excellent.The last two times we ate there, the porterhouse has changed, and was way below what it used to be.Personally, my last visit was my last visit.
Asked for medium rare and got medium well. No faster way to ruin a steak dinner than that.
Every time I’ve been to arthurs the 24 oz steak is a home run and the arthurs famous potatoes are out of this world! Give it a shot if you enjoy a great char broiled steak. Waiter was great very attentive, and the inside is very homey with lots of pictures and bar signs and a big fire place.
