Northfield Garden is in a small strip mall on US-9. They are primarily a Chinese takeout, but they do also serve dine-in customers, albeit with only two available tables. One thing I noticed is service is very good and the lady will take care of anything that you need. As a plus, pretty much the entire takeout menu is available for dine-in and the combination platters are quite impressive when served on a plate instead of in a takeout box. As always, the first thing I tried was the pork egg foo young. It’s a benchmark I use for all Chinese takeout places and here, they did rather well. The egg foo young wasn’t too oily and having a bowl of gravy on the side kept it from getting soggy. Definitely would revisit this place the next time I’m in Northfield.
