Fantastic home cooking. This was a wonderful and rare treat. Warm greeting from the owner and a great meal. We has the shrimp curry, jerk chicken, and crab cakes. The mosaic salad – superb! The spices used were wonderful. The sorrell drink and ginger beer were excellent. A must if looking for something special.
Exceptional!. Three days into our stay at the Jersey Shore we happened upon an awesome Mom and Pop restaurant slightly off the beaten path in Ocean City. The food fresh and inventive and even had our picky teenage boys asking to go back.We had a variety of entrees, from white fish to jerk chicken. It was all delightfully prepared and incredibly tasty. Definitely the food highlight of our trip.
Best place in Ocean City. I am a local and this place is just excellent. The atmosphere is great, especially in the summer when the large windows are open and there is a nice breeze. It is a small place and very cozy and very friendly. The service is excellent. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and fast. I have dined there at least 5 times and the consistency is there as well.Of course, the most important thing is the food. It is fantastic..as are the drinks. Non-alcoholic ginger beer and one other that escapes me are freshly prepared, unique, and add to the authenticity. The jerk chicken is my favorite dish there and the fried plantains that come with it are really superb. I tried the curry dish and the coconut shrimp and they are very good as well. Their jerk chicken is just too good to not get! Also, the fresh made squash soup was just outstanding as well.This is the place to go in Ocean City and the surrounding area. This place is a true gem. I just wish they were open during the week off season, but Ocean City is a ghost town in the winter so it is understandable. Also, I noticed they have take-out which I may take advantage of in the future but really, I enjoy sitting down and dining there.There are not many places I brag about but this is one of them. I have turned a few people on to this place and they rave about it as well. This is Ocean City’s best kept secret, at least for now!!!
Service was great, everyone was very friendly. Food was good but a little pricey. It’s different that’s for sure.. You should def try it though.
Had breakfast. Delicious pancakes and omlette. Not inexpensive but very nice. Very friendly service.
