Mean OwnerI have been going to The Bashful Banana these past few years, specifically bc my son has severe food allergies. They have some vegan options there to accommodate his diet, which is always a challenge. When I recently called in to check the ingredients on an item, I asked for the owner as I did not feel comfortable the young girl who answered understood what I was asking. The woman she passed the phone off to was clearly annoyed with having to get on the phone, and when I apologized if she was busy she cut me off and told me she had a call on the other line – I never even got to ask my question. This was not during peak dinner hours, and I thought my reason for calling was pretty important. When I called back, she was just as rude and never even apologized for her unprofessional behavior. The food is not worth my time or money to be treated with such disrespect.

Banana Whip. All fruit – nothing but banana and it tastes just like ice cream! Amazing!!! Just off the boardwalk by that big ship and go karts!
Healthy, fresh, yummy, and sanitary restaurant. My Mom and I LOVE the banana! We often stopped there for lunch or a frozen banana treat on our recent trip to O.C. They have lots of healthy food options..I opted for the turkey burger and the pumpkin shake…so delicious! They even have healthy muffins and baked goods. A great stop on the boardwalk for everyone. The prices of the frozen banana whips are a little high but it is a great healthy low fat treat. Wonderful for folks on diets or for people who are health minded. The place is so nice and inviting for a small spot. Clean and awesome. A PLUS!
Delicious. We ride our bikes in the morning and stop there for breakfast.
Easily the best veggie selection in Ocean City. Friendly staff. Amazing frozen banana-based desserts that taste like the best sundae you ever had. We are so lucky to have this place in OC!
