The whole family absolutely loved Mike’s Seafood! The garlic butter sauce was to die for and the outdoor seating was comfortable and family friendly. Additionally, the staff were very helpful and efficient. Best dinner so far in OC NJ!
Didn’t try the cooked seafood, but I bought fresh scallops, my favorite Jersey Shore seafood. I was very pleased with the freshness, texture and taste – they were great!
Mike’s seafood is arguably the best seafood in Ocean City. Between the short cook time, friendly Atmosphere, and the outside seating, this place truly provides a unique dining experience. Best of all, the owners are sweat hearts; I dined here with my girlfriend and we arrived at 8:30 knowing the place closed at 9. Despite this we ordered 3lbs of Alaskan crab legs. Not only did the food come out promptly, and was delicious, they let us complete our meal even when it was approaching 9:40. When we finished, the manager even came out and chatted with us for 20 min or so. Ironically, his name was Mike too haha. I promise you will not be disappointed with the home made hearty soups and the fresh seafood. This place is a little known secret of Ocean City! 😉

Great experience!. We just recently tried Mike’s for the first time and will definitely be going back! We live on the other end of the island, however it is totally worth the trip to the south end. Grilled fish specials were delicious, along with the steamers and crab balls. Looking forward to many more dinners on the deck at Mike’s!
Never so disappointed!. Horrible, horrible, horrible. We spent $62 for 6 dried up, over cooked supposedly 4 oz lobster tails. Of course after they were cooked to worse than rubber, there was maybe at best 2 ounces of the worst lobster we have ever had. What a disappointment after spending quite some time deciding where to have a good meal. We chose the WRONG place. We will never recommend Mike’s Seafood.
About the best in area. It is a bit pricey, some of the fried food isn’t the best out there. However, I do love the broiled dishes and most other items are fresh. Not many seafood option in area, if you’d rather an upscale sit-down, cross over the bridge to the Crab Trap in Somers Point (terrific Crab Bisque and no Soup Nazi). Other than those, it’s a ton of Italian places for being down the Shore. Cape May has all the top Seafood such as Axelson’s, The Lobster House, and Oyster bay. Also a few in Seaisle City and Crab House in Manahawkin.
