Great Italian Food. I go here often because the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent! I go out to eat very often and have had my share of complaints at places, but never here. The staff have been there a while and are always very nice and do not mind if you have special requests. Tonight, I will be celebrating my 50th birthday at Bensi’s with some friends, and I am sure they will not disappoint me. Their bread is to die for delicious! They make fantastic Sangria’s both red and white and their prices are very reasonable, if they were too cheap, everyone with young kids would be taking over the place. The calamari is never rubbery, great seafood salad, excellent baked clams, excellent chicken soup, actually everything is delicious!! 🙂

This was the second Bensi location that I have visited. On this visit my food selections werent as great as the North Brunswick location but they were still really good. The service was good but my waiter decided that I would have salad rather than soup instead of asking me my preference. When I asked about a soup or salad choice he said I just got you salads. Sorry bub its my choice not yours. The food quality control for this chain is amazing, nothing leaves that kitchen without being perfect. I had a salad with blue cheese dressing, bacon wrapped scallops and a peice of cod over bean puree and escarole. All good food but I liked my choices at the North Brunswick location much better. affordable
