2nd visit dissapoted. On our latest trip to NJ we brought some friends with us to the diner since our prior experiences had been great. We had 5 people total and arrived at approximately 9:30 pm on a Thursday. The diner a few tables occupied and one large table with 12 teenagers. The waitress seems overwhelmed by them and apparently had no other assistance in waiting on the customers. Well, after 15 minutes of being ignored we decided to leave and as we did another table did the same. The cashier nor the manager even inquired as to why we were leaving. VERY Poor treatment – not looking forward to returning.25 Aug, 2009We are originally from NY, now live in Florida. While visiting my daughter who recently moved to Oldbridge we went to the Bridge-Way diner. It was fantastic. The food,atmosphere and prices were great. We returned twice before going back to Florida. We look forward to our next trip to Oldbridge.
Yeesh.. Good Jersey-style salad bar (as in: more fattening than McDonald’s), but the entrees are almost always cringeworthy. Ordered the special: baked chicken over noodles, which sounded safe until it arrived drenched in a tomato sauce that was tasteless and greasy. Had to dig through for the chicken hidden within. Stick to the basics and you’ll get through.
Unbelievable. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. Waitress brought it out as a wrap and asked if I still wanted it. I said sorry, no. She returned about 3 minutes later with it on a hero. It was obvious the cook scraped it out of the wrap and put it on a hero. The amount of meat on it was now about 1/3 of what it should be. I asked her if she could take it back and put some more meat on it. She returned and told me the owner said that if i wanted more meat, it would cost more. I asked to speak to him. He came over and repeated what he had said. He didn’t even care what the sandwich now looked like. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! This is how this place does business? I am not surprised that there is a $3.50 plate sharing charge. Please…Do not give this guy your business. It was obvious that his staff is not fond of him either
