I was excited to try this place as a recommendation from a co-worker on a work trip. Dining solo, it was disappointing to feel unimportant as a single diner. No one checked on me, I had to flag someone down after awhile to get my check, etc. that aside, the food was really good. They had a lot of vegetarian options. I started with the veggie chili that was great and I had the Vegetarian Burrito Nopales that were awesome. I had never had Nopales (cactus), so it was fun to try. Margarita hit the spot too. But $8 for a house one.
Good burrito. Expensive but good. I order the same thing every time I go, a vegetarian burrito which is huge, can feed two people easily. Although its a bit pricey I get two meals out of it. Their chips and salsa are really good too.
Great food, fast service, nice atmosphere
Poor Excuse. Let me clarify before you read my post – I am from San Antonio, so I am used to excellent margaritas and Mexican Food. Not only was this place totally overpriced, the food wasn’t even good. I didn’t even finish my margarita. It was flat and bland served in a water glass. Appetizer wings and stuffed jalapenos were lacking. Tortillas didn’t taste homemade. The fajita meat was tasty. Reaffirmed that I should not visit NJ and eat Mexican food. Sticking to great bagels instead!
Great service, good prices, and decent food. I recommend the steak fajita’s and the qusadilla. I was not a fan of the beef tacos however, the meat was too watery and loose.
