Brasserie Brandman is a modern American restaurant located in Park Ridge, New Jersey offering a curated menu of popular dishes that reflect the very best of dining from Manhattan to Bergen County. Some may ask, why call the restaurant the French term Brasserie? Quite simply, brasserie is defined as "an unpretentious restaurant that serves drinks and hearty meals." Stephen Brandman has worked closely with Executive Chef Julie Farias to create a collection of some of his favorite dishes, starting in his childhood and working his way through his thirty year hospitality career operating hotels and restaurants in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Toronto and London. Menu items will range from house-made hot biscuits and blueberry pie in the style of Lundy's in Sheepshead Bay, to grilled dry-aged Porterhouse steak and Bone-in Prime Ribeye, to Slab Bacon cooked in special ovens where temperatures reach 900 degrees -- a nod to trips to Peter Lugers with his father. Other popular dishes include Tempura Rock Shrimp, Chocolate Spare Ribs and Bone-in Veal Milanese. In recognition of his wife Stephanie and two daughters being vegetarian, Brandman has also included menu items such as Ligurian Pesto pasta, Vegetable Buckwheat crepes and Organic Tuscan Kale salad. Brasserie Brandman, which is housed in a 100 year old building (formerly Valentino's), has been completely restored so as to ensure the community gets to enjoy the restaurant for decades to come.Details

Very disappointed with food. The skirt steak was dry and overcooked served with what was supposed to be sautéed onions but turned out to be 1/2 thick white onions almost raw.
