Very casual. I stopped in at The Ridge Diner for breakfast this morning. It was early and there were just a few regulars sitting at the lunch counter. I selected a table and settled in. I only saw the breakfast menu which had lots of omelette and griddle choices as well as other items. I went with the Irish Omelette, one of their breakfast specials. I like corned beef.It was ok, not nearly as much corned beef as I would have preferred but there was lots of Swiss cheese and green peppers. When you include the home fries it was a large breakfast. I left some food on the plate.Service was very casual, beginning when I arrived and they handed me a menu and told me to sit wherever I wanted. There was a delay in getting coffee, not entirely the servers fault but still it took too long. By the time I had finished I had decided I should just get up to pay and they would figure it out instead of waiting for someone to bring the check, and that worked perfectly.

This is a great diner as well as being a Park Ridge lamdmark. They recently renovated and the interior is nice.
D-i-n-e-r. Best diner around the area…i prefer this than northvale diner.
