This is the closest you can get to authentic middle eastern cuisine in the US. They serve vegetables dipped in vinegar with kubus. Hummus is a separate order though. Just make sure you don’t stuff yourself with that before the actual food comes. We ordered the Family platter, which includes 2 types of mutton kebab, chicken sheekh kebab, and lamb chops with rice. This is good for 6 people at least. Food, service and ambience is great. The whole nostalgic food experience was worth it!

We decided to take away from the popular middle eastern food from Al Basha. It was crowded and had the best seating arrangement for a halal restaurant. We ordered 2 chicken platter, 2 Hummus plate, few chicken and cube chicken shawarmas. While waiting, a man in traditional clothes served us ghawa, ghawa is a strong arabic coffee. It was refreshing so we bought some as well! About the food, it was all warm even after we reach home. The chicken platter was my favourite as the chicken pieces were soft and complimented the rice so well! Its a must have! The happening flavour of onions made the taste even better! The hummus was good as well. I was so full that I couldn’t taste the shawarma but my family said, it was really good. But when I had the leftovers the other day, it tasted really dry. So its better to not have any leftover. Overall, it was worth it!—If you liked reading my review, check out @nazish.munir on Instagram to stay updated! discoverwithnazish.com
