Mr. F.V. To whom It may concern, On 5/16/12 I have visited The Seabra’s Reataurant, since I had a friend with me who was visiting the US, I kept my calm not to get upset or spoil the time. Once I got there, I was approached by a very rude lady Who yelled at us can I help you. The way she act it’s like we did not belong in there. I kept my calm, it took forever for the waiter to bring us some bread.. We order coffees, the waiter gave the coffees without cream or milk. She said we have no cream. I found that to be somewhat disturbing. we went on and order the foods. The foods were disgusting. there were no available spice on the table. I eat out a lot I have never seen any service so low and mediocre.

Okay. When we arrived, i have to say that the valet parking was great. We were seated perfectly in a table outside with a nice atmosphere. The waiter I have to say was not the best waiter, he didnt even smile with us once. I mean I had to ask him 5 times for my french fries before he actually gave them to me. The appetizer of calamari was delicious. When my entree of clams casino arrived it was cold. The mariscada was nice and hot and so was the shrimp with rice. When I went to the bathroom the doors were rusty and the bathroom was not in clean standards. The price is reasonable but including that it was cold and we didnt ask for many drinks it wasnt the best price ever. If you really want to eat nice seafood go to Costa Verde a couple miles ayaw, itll save u money and ull enjoy the good seafood. Overall I give this place a good to okay overall. 3 stars is enough.

It’s a shame, great location great view. Atrocious service and staff. We waited 20 minutes to be waited on ordered rodizio and it took 25 minutes to get a plate of cold fries rice and fried bananas. Then another 15 to have a waiter come around with undercooked and fatty meat that was bartley edible. I mean literally bloody red sinew that I wouldn’t feed my dog. The bacon was all white and fatty. The turkey was pink the beef was red and raw and the short ribs was a huge bone with just clear fat clinging to it. The surrounding tables said the same thing. All this for $25 and a crumby wait staff that was nowhere to be found, I highly recommend not going here. Take my bill and the 10% tip I was even hesitant at that to leave and brush up your cooks and service

Great Food, Attentive but Inept Service. The Armory has become a dining institution in Perth Amboy, NJ. Situated on the recently restyled waterfront, the one has the option to dine indoors in a beautifully appointed dining room set with fine linens, or oudoors under a canopy with stylish but uncomfortable aluminum furniture overlooking the Raritan Yacht Club marina. We opted to dine al fresco, this evening. The food is exceptional, if a bit pricey. I definitely recommend the Chorizo appetizer, as well as the Clams Casino. Many other diners opted for the ubiqitous Calamari. Be prepared to share appetizers, because the portions are immense. For example; the Chorizo, priced at a whopping $10.95, could easily have been cut in half, charged a more reasonable $6.95 and still served two. I ordered grilled pork chops with garlic sauce. An excellent choice, impeccably prepared. The sauce was a bit pungent, but was served on the side, which made it more manageable. My dinner companions had the grilled ribeye steak, and the grilled salmon. None were disappointed. It’s hard to describe the service. French service by Portuguese waiters with poor English skills makes for less than adequate service. While the staff is extremely attentive and willing to please, every order had to be repeated. Half of our requests, for drink refills, etc. went unheeded until repeated or clarified. And wrapping the food to take home was completely mixed up. While the waiters’ accents are charming, they don’t justify the frustration caused by the language barrier. However, add to this being seated outdoors on a balmy summer afternoon or evening, watching the boat activity in the marina and around Staten Island, and you have all the makings for a very pleasurable dining experience.

I was nervous to go here because of the bad reviews I saw on line, but I was pleasantly surprised. I took my husband here for his birthday and we had a great time. The salad bar was a little week but the food and side dishes were great, the drinks were great, and rodizio is always fun.
