Disappointed. My husband and I tried Gabriele’s last night for the first time. Our bartender was very friendly. However, the food was really bad. We ordered the spinach dip, which was very soupy and the chips were greasy. I ordered the scallop dinner. The scallops were so bad that they tasted like they came out of a can. Even the bartender commented on the way it looked. Could not eat the dinner at all. Luckily, we were not charged for it. Will not ever go back there.
Service was average. The food was under seasoned (no salt or anything else on the calamari, fries, or mozzarella sticks). The eggplant in the veggie wrap wasn’t cooked very well -the skin was nearly inedible.
Horrible….. How is this place still open?Disgusting food and overly priced.Servers are rude and lazy.The happy hour is a waste.The regulars belong in a Hills have Eyes movie.Do yourself a favor.Either go to the Brick House or out of town all together.If only what happened to Burger King could happen there….
My wife and I tried Gabriele’s several times and we are just unhappy with the Place. The food is average and extremely over priced. It’s bar food with a five star restaurant mentality. They have a wing special during happy hour that’s actually good. Five wings for $2.00,but the catch is you have to buy the blue cheese for .75 cent what a rip off!!!

Bring the Family. Reminds me of a privately owned Hooters, or Buffalo Wild Wings.PROS: Great Food, affordable prices. Friendly Staff. Awesome Happy Hour. Huge generous portions of wings. Air Hockey and Pool Table. Kid FriendlyCONS: Wing Sauce is only so-so, need a real Buffalo Style Sauce. Owner should get on the floor and meet people.
Best Sports Bar in Central Jersey. I Love It! Im not sure where some of these review are coming from.Overpriced? Maybe compared to the dollar menu at BK…I can eat here with the family for 1/2 what is costs to eat at a chain slop-house (of which Piscataway has several) and the food is always freshly prepared not microwaved pre-portions of dogfood like the chains.Rude??? Seriously?? This place has the best staff around. Good looking watiresses and bartenders and always a smile and great service. I cant think of any place Ive been to that wasnt in a tourist town where the staff talked to my children and made them feel wlecome like they always do at Gabriele’s.I may be a regular, but the first times I went there, I certainly wasnt. It was the great value, terrific food and excellent service and atmosphere that made me become a regular.As far as the Bar crowd – yes there is a Motel 6 in the back of the parking lot, so there is the occassional trucker at the bar. Didnt know the world hated truckers so much. Never seen a dirty / slobbish mess in this place and I am in there 8 to 10 times a month.Best Food, Drink and Value in the Area. Check it out for yourself. Its worth the risk – food is very reasonabley priced and I say form your won opinion.
