We had to make a stop in Absecon and we were randomly looking for a lunch spot. When I read that this place had dim sum, it was a must stop. Not the largest selection I’ve seen but decent enough. The food didn’t disappoint. Some things got lost in translation but overall, it’s the same at every dim sum place I’ve been…point to the items you want. Just don’t expect to have questions answered b/c this a family run place and there are only a few English speakers to help answer your questions. That’s fine by me. Great find in the middle of nowhere, South Jersey.
Went there for dinner. We ordered two dishes on our way back to Baltimore from Atlantic City. One was the special of two lobsters with scaalions and ginger. The sauce was light with just enough kick. The two lobesters priced at 28.95, was not only a good value but sweet and delicous. Our other dish was sauteed sweet pea leaves. WOW…who would have thought this green would be so ooutstanding. The leaves were stir fried and then sauteed in chicken broth with a healthy dose of garlic. Easily one of the tastiest greens dish i have had. This restaurant ALWAYS delivers an outstanding food experience.09 Nov, 2009Incredible. We chanced upon this restarurant on the way home to Baltimore. We arrived there around 11 am. We were the only non asians in the place. I realized it was a dim sum restaurant and ordered various dim sum including two shu mai, taro cake, various pork dishes and chicken dishes. My wife and I consumed 6 dim sum. To our surprise the bill came in at just 16 dollars. More importantly, every dim sum dish was beautifully prepared and quite delicious. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a treat either going to or leaving atlantic city new jersey.
