Believe the hype!. I was surprised so was my hubby at how good it is! We expected it to be like White house subs in AC which is a lot of buzz for nothing!The buzz at Jersey Mikes is for good reason! First of all I do not eat meat often if I do it is in a small amount like a dumpling. I had a Turkey bacon warp and didn’t get sick (I usually get sick if I eat meat) and it was delicious! My hubby who is a Brooklyn born sandwich connoisseur, was doubly surprised at how good it is! The pictures do not do it justice! I thought they were just at the shore and found out they also have one in lower Manhattan (that is the area that out of towners and newbies to NYC call downtown. The best chain sandwich we both have had anywhere for sure!The bacon is crispy and fresh and everything is super fresh! Awesome subs. I saw this place on the food network, and had to try it out for myself, being a Jersey boy. I just happened to be in Point Pleasant, so I gave it a shot.Definitely worth the trip. I had the Pastrami with kraut and spicy mustard (not a big fan of Thousand Island). It was delicious. They really know how to make a sub. It’s on the pricey side, but you get a lot of high quality meat, instead of the one slice at the 5 dollar sub shops.Can’t wait to go back for another.
