  Authentic Italian. As a native to Pequannock, N.J., the town right next to Pompton Plains where this awesome authentic Italian eatery is located, I have been here many many times through out my life. The chef’s that own the palce are very talented and the food that comes out of that kitchen is absolutely mouth watering. It is a cozy place, a store front actually so I would get there a bit early as to avoid the serious rush that they get nightly.

  AWFUL EXPERIENCE :(. This restaurant doesn’t even deserve one star. Several weeks ago, I purchased a Groupon. For anyone who does not know what a Groupon is, it’s a website (www.groupon.com) that you sign up for free and everyday they e-mail you with different deals in your area on things such as restaurants, spas, gym memberships, etc. I saw the deal for Pizza Man (Spend $12 and receive a $25 voucher) and decided to purchase it as I am fairly new to Morris County. Last night my boyfriend and I decided to use our voucher to Pizza Man and had an awful experience. First, we got to the restaurant and it is SMALL and was extremely packed. If you are claustrophobic or do not like loud restaurants, than this is not the place for you. The women up front said there would be a five minute wait. Five minutes turned into waiting 25 minutes in a small, cold, and congested waiting area. We were already upset that we had to wait much longer than we were told, however we figured since the restaurant was packed the food was probably good. Finally, we were seated and given menus. After waiting 25 minutes (I kid you not) no one even came over to take our drink order. I have NEVER been ignored for that long of an amount of time in a restaurant. While we were waiting, we could hear other tables around us complaining of the awful service as well. There are about 15 tables in the restaurant and there was just one young girl waiting all of the tables. People were getting up to pay as they just wanted to get the heck out of there. After 25 minutes, we got up and left the restaurant. I have never done that in my life, but refuse to be treated that way. I will never go back there. Overall, if the staff would have acknowledged us being there, and the food was at least decent, they could have gained two new customers. Now, I hope the owners choke on their food. Waste of my time, money, and gas.
