Mole! Tamales!. Besides being inexpensive for this area, always a bonus, the menu at La Gemelas is extensive AND authentic. This is not American Mexican, although there are some menu items that would cater to that crowd. (Anything that comes with lettuce, tomato, cheese, & sour cream on top you should steer clear of if you want the authentic stuff.) The food we’ve had has been really great. Also – they sell tamales, although they aren’t on the menu. We ordered mole tamales – my first time having that kind, and it was awesome.
