My husband and I went in today hoping to order breakfast although it was 3 pm. They only had a dinner menu and brunch was available. i got the brunch and my husband got a salad with chicken. His salad was not very large and it cost $11.95. My brunch cost $12.95 and it was nothing to write home about. They were getting ready to close and the French toast was hardly warm. There were almost no Bernase eggs left. The Cesar salad was wilting. The pasta salad was ok. Our waitress brought me fresh Bernase eggs and they were ok. Again, nothing spectacular. We thought that we could order breakfast late in the afternoon like any other diner, and we thought they had longer hours, like other diners. The waitress was wonderful but the food was medicocre at best and the prices were too high. Not to mention, the name diner lends itself to long hours and more food options all day long. The brunch offered few items and they were basically room temperature and just ok. Not impressed and i’m not very picky.
