I come here frequently, and I don’t believe I’ve been disappointed yet. The food is flavorful and very close to the TexMex Border fare I’m used to having. I love the fact that they have tamal(e)s. But you got to get them before they are sold out. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Typically I order so that we can share (family style) so I’ve utilized all their services, dine-in, take-out and delivery and always have been happy with our meals. The place in Rockaway is small, (more take-out than sit down) but they have a larger restaurant in Denville. Dont let its outer shell fool you. It may have that ‘hole in the wall’ appearance but my experiences have always dictated that those are the best restaurants and diners to eat in. And this is no exception.
