My wife and I come to Somers Point quite often but had the most awful service at Baia and our food was sub-par at best. Fish and shrimp was over cooked. While neighboring tables enjoyed bread before their meals we had to ask 6 different times only to never get the bread! Drinks? not mixed or served correctly and we waited 20 mins for them. So, we headed down to a neighboring restaurant and received top notch service, food and drinks.
Good dinner, recommended. My wife and I ate here on a Monday night in early August. I made a reservation with OpenTable for 6PM. We got there at 5:45 and we’re seated immediately. Our server was very prompt and pleasant and got us some drinks. She even offered to return the beer she recommended if I didn’t like it. She gave us plenty of time to review the menu. The appetizer arrived quickly and the food arrived shortly after that. The grilled salmon was quite good, as we’re the beans and smashed potatoes (yum)! My wife had veal parmigiano and enjoyed it. He meal was huge and she had to take some home. We had a few people deliver bread, water, food and they were all pleasant. It seems to be a team effort. I was hesitant to visit after reading some reviews but was glad we did go here. I would return next year without hesitation.
