Disappointed after many years of good food. Had been a fan of the Crab Trap since the ’70’s. I just visited this week and noticed an extremely unfavorable difference in the food quality while the prices keep increasing. Even the bloody mary drink was one of the worst that I have ever had.
We had nine adults at 5:30 Sat. Service was good, food came quicker than usual for a major dinner for large group. No complaints from anyone about the quality. The bread and muffins were all hot. Very good. $318 for nine includes drinks, not the tip.
Disappointed. This has been one of my 2 shore favorites for years. On Mon. the 12th, I took my mother and my sister who had never been there. The waiter seemed disinterested in his job. Service was very irregular…mixing up the side dishes, but we sent nothing back. The broiled flounder was watery and mushy….perhaps had been frozen. And, of course, my sister would never go back.
Can’t say much about the food as we didn’t stay long enough to eat. The bartenders were very rude and ignored us for the longest time had the worst marqarita I’ve ever tasted , maybe they were all having a bad day simultaneously ! I was just visiting so I’ll never go back , but being in the service industry , I just don’t understand how they keep there jobs !
Too many rules on sharing. Too much oil too long wait and slow service dining. A sence of our growing their space Felt cramped. Not a shore good time.
Ridiculously overrated! The wait was insane, the service lacking, and the food was just pitiful. The lobster was so overcooked, it was inedible.
AWFUL. – the rest. was fairly empty. Our waitress copped a major attitude once she saw the two toddlers at our table. We ordered our dinners-it took over 30 mins for our salads and not soon after our salads were dropped our dinners came out. Our table was never prebussed so our waitress was fumbling to clear plates as we tried to make room for our dinner plates.One of our dinners was cold, I had the rib special and they were beyond fatty. I informed the manager of our bad experience and he did nothing except give me a business card. When i told our server abou the ribs (which i didn’t eat) and how fatty they were, she said nothing.We would have tipped extra becuase we had toddlers. Our server would disapper- I have been a server, and this is one of the WORST places i have ever eaten all around.
