New menu! We were very excited to see rabbit bolanse on the menu. I loved rabbit growing up and it is hard to find. It was delicious. Our server Brittany was delightful.
Disappointing. A crab salad on a hotdog roll, described as a New England Roll, it was under the dinner portions, should be embarrassed that they have they offer this on their menu. Weak, to say the least. Other guests found their food fair at best. Would not go back
Great view, terrible service. Sitting at the bar is wonderful at 800 Bay, everything else is mediocre.A group of us went for happy hour. The signs advertised happy hour specials through 7 but at 6:30, we were told happy hour was over. The food was mediocre and drinks were on the expensive side. After paying our checks, we were asked to give up our seats. We won’t be coming back to 800 Bay, there are plenty of other waterfront restaurants with better food and service at this price point.
Stopped here for happy hour. Fantastic views from the deck bar and beautiful place but the service was hectic and food wait time unacceptable. Views and location make it worth a second try but……
Great food and service. My dinner at 800 Bay was delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass, which was made with soy and lemon grass, the red-skin garlic mashed potatoes which were garlicky but not overpowering and sauteed spinach which was fresh and tasty. I also had the shrimp cocktail served in a martini glass, looked really cool. Good service, nice atmosphere. I got to meet the new chef, and he sent out a taste of the new firecracker shrimp they are adding to the menu. Looking forward to going back again.
