  So I went to KFC with my family, as we hadn’t been there in a while. I thought I’d wrote a review since the place has changed quite a bit. The service was so-so, considering KFC is a fast food chain. We ordered the 12 piece meal(big family!) The meal came with 12 huge pieces of chicken, 3 large sides, and 6 biscuits(no drinks). We ordered the coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and baked beans sides. I was not a fan of the baked beans, they were very liquidy… definitely not my taste. The coleslaw was okay, but could have been better, it was a bit too sweet. The mashed potatoes and gravy, however, were amazing. Best I’ve tried at a fast food restaurant. The meal had 6 crispy chicken pieces, and 6 spicy chicken pieces(you can customize whether or not you want spicy chicken). The crispy chicken was okay, I’ve definitely had better from KFC. It wasn’t as crispy as I would have hoped, and some pieces were slightly soggy. The spicy chicken pieces were delicious! On a scale of 1-10, the spicy chicken was a 5 for me on the spiciness. There was no need for ketchup with these ones, the chicken and batter had enough flavor. The only downside to the spicy ones, however, was that some of them were really oily. I found myself trying to pat the oil away because I’m not a fan of too much oil. Overall, I think the place was okay, the food was kind of either hit or miss for me. I definitely recommend trying the mashed potatoes and the spicy chicken if you decide to give this KFC a try!

  KFC is More Than Just Food. There’s something about KFC that I just love. Maybe it’s the greasy chicken, maybe it’s the fantastic cole slaw-but either way, I can’t stay away from their original recipe!KFC is more than just food. The manager there is absolutely WONDERFUL. She is always there-seems to work ’round the clock. She is always friendly, patient, & just plain old nice.I think one of the reasons I come back is because of her.I’m going to get her name the next time I go there so I can write to corporate & tell them about this untapped treasure!

  This is the KFC on 22 near Somerville Circle. I ate here once in 2007 and found it to be greasy.
