My wife and I went for the 1st time, made reservations for 6:30 and went for happy hour. Had calamari, wings, mango margarita, Killians Red for me. At dinner Wife had pan seared scallops, cedar roasted Salmon for me. All the food was SUPERB!! tasted So Fresh, cooked Right! Jennifer the bartender was friendly and a Great Host, the staff was Great as well!! Will be back for sure!!!
Excellent cuisine from a well- trained chef. Great attention paid to every detail-the sides of potatoes & vegetables that come with the entrees really shine. LOVE the fried potato chunks! Rack of veal or lamb, duck, hanger steak- everything we ever had was superb. And all in a beautiful dining room. First class all the way.
Sooooo Good!!!!. Maras is a best kept secret that shouldnt be a secret. The food experience is prenominal from appetizer to desert. The menu was reasonably priced for a gourmet experience. My fiance and I started off with fried calamari….best I ever had.So tender and fresh, cooked to perfection. Our entrees were Seafood Fra Diavolo and Grilled Veal Chops. Both were perfect portions, the Fra Diavolo was just right, not too spicy, and the seafood so fresh like it just came off the boat. The veal chops were perfectly grilled and seasoned were licking your fingers was not an issue because…..they were just that awesome….off the chart! Our meal ended with a shared cheese cake….too stuffed for our own individual, so light and refreshing that you almost want to force yourself to have your own.Did I forget to mention atmosphere? Comfortable and spacious, candle light at each table with the warm dcor and lighting. And of course the staff, eager to please, attentive and pleasant. The negative thing I can say is location and only because unless you know exactly where Maras is, you can easily drive right by it. The building is right off the highway and the only sign is on the building so theres no warning when your close to the entrance. Please dont miss this fine dining experience, I promise you will not be sorry!
