SPer. Grew up going there with my mother and brother. Rudy was the best guy!!! Ever since the new owners came in. The pizza is different. Can’t put my finger on it, but it is. I go to Salerno’s on Park ave now. I agree the attitudes there are horrible. Execpt for the one guy that’s been there for ever. If I do go it’s for th Anti Pasto.
Good pizza. I venture to Rudolfo at least once a month. Love their pies as the crust is usually thin and crisp. They to me have the best antipasto around next to my own. As for the employee and owners attitude, who cares as long the food is good…
Unsanitary. Just came from this place and watched 2 employees. One making a garden salad and the other making a sandwich WITH NO GLOVES ON!!! That is disgusting!! Oh an rednep attitude is everything. i am a Restaurant manager. Do you think I would have guests if i gave them a piss poor attitdue. Its friendliness and a smile as well as good food that brings people in but more importantly BRINGS THEM BACK!!!
Are they Racist?. I understand they’re not the same owners I grew up knowing in the late 80’s & early 90’s who were the best and oh so welcoming. 5 years ago I experienced an pleasant young lady who over looked me and took the order of some1 who came in after me. Just so happened they were white. Im friendly, lived in Splfd all my life, Bakery run w/Trudie next door since for ever…I actually stopped going to Rudolfos because of that incident. So maybe she having a bad day…but then it happened again. 5 years later bc I ran in to quick ck and said to myself I’ll try again…And the same thing happened. Mentioned it to a friend to see if it was me…and they too experienced the nasty treatment. Oh well…I’ll travel over to.my new spot on Park Ave Salernosn into into Quick
Good Pizza….but….. I like their pizza but just as others have written, they have an attitude as if your doing them a favor. My parents like this pizza and I only go there for them. There are too many really good pizza places in So. Plfd that are just as good if not better. They need to learn better customer service including the owner.

Employees have terrible attitude. I have been to thie pizza parlor a few times (I live very close) and every time the owners and all of the employees act like they are doing ME a favor by letting me eat there when in fact I am choosing to give them my business. (two of the three times I was here, I dealt with the owners of the place) I walk in this place – no hello, no can I help you, no conversation at all. They just look at you and wait for you to place your order. I go to pay with a CC and they just put the paper down in front of me with a pen , no sign here. Then they just put the food on the counter and walk away. No thank you, no come again, nothing. This has happened to me on all three of my visits to this place. I will not be going here again. There are to many other restaurants in South Plainfield to chhose from. There is no reason to deal with rude employees and owners.
