Ok it’s hard for me to give this place a great review especially since we have a place like xina twenty more minutes north of hear had the sushi was decent Alain ordered the pai Thai w shrimp was extremely disappointing with this dish it was as if they spilled the fish sauce on it and didn’t realize It shame was hopping to find a decent place closer that Toms River but as I’ve come to learn if you want good cuisine you’ve gotta be willing to travel for it
The Generals is the best in the area. Sushi was fresh and delish. The shrimp pad thai however was inedible. Not a hint of peanut and doused with fish sauce. Food arrived when ready as opposed to together. Probably 5-8 mins between my entre and my dining partners.
Just above a NYC take out place…. We stopped by this resteraunt for a last minute bite with the kids. We found it to decent food, large selection and the service was acceptable, but the decor was just above a Chinese take out place in NYC. We would return, if we lived in the area… mainly because it was very reasonably priced.
