BEST EVER. SCOOPS HAS THE BEST SHAKES AND IF YOU WANT AN ICE CREAM CAKE THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO
WORTH THE TRIP OFF LBI – SUPERB. You MUST weave this place into your visit to LBI or Manahawkin!! The place is wholesome and family-oriented and brings you back in time. The owners are meticulously clean and the service is outstanding. Did I mention that the ice cream and ices are absolutely delicious? The portions are generous and the only negative is that you will not be able to decide on your guilty pleasure! Go with a group of friends and ENJOY. A great neighborhood addition!! Fantastic. I called to see if they were open, he said he was closing down but how long would I be? I told him 20 he stayed open had a delicious cone and bought some girl scout cookies. These guys r great. Real mom and pop. Four stars

Best LBI area Ice Cream Store!. If you want to experience a city neighborhood ice cream store down by LBI then head to Scoops Plus. The ice cream and ices taste handmade, the decor is clean and reminds you of another (simpler!) time and the service is out of this world. Ivy, the owner, is welcoming and for ice cream lovers like me, overly generous with what I think is the best ice cream in the LBI area. In fact, I plan on taking my kids there as a treat when we are down for the summer! Great find and great ice cream!25 Apr, 2009The best ice cream down the shore! This is way better than any ice cream shop on Long Beach Island. Definitely worth the drive from LBI to either bring the kids or pick up for home. Scoops Plus has a great selection of ices and ice cream and the service is excellent because the owners are hands on. I totally recommend.
The Best. Great ice cream, great service ,reasonably priced . i had a photo ice cream cake made for my daughters birthday and everyone was amazed how beautiful and delicious it was !!!! YOU must try scoops plus you will become a regular.
