  Was there recently for a group dinner and was seriously dissatisfied with the food preparation and quality. Salad was nothing more than a plate of lettuce. The scallop dinner had two scallops for the main course, seriously! Dessert was a joke again. They need a real pastry chef or subcontract to a good bakery. The tables and chairs are looking really old and dated at least use a table cloth. Arm rests need to refinished as well.

  What Service?. Decided to give the Grand Cascades and the Crystal Tavern a second try. Unfortunately, we had the same result. The restaurant is a beautiful setting for what should be a wonderful evening, but the food and the service are a great disappointment. Too many managers standing around and not enough people serving the customers. It actually got to the point that we were competing with a neighboring table to see who could scare up some staff first. The sad part is that they just don’t seem to care. The resort is a beautiful building but it is not worth the money. The staff is second rate compared to the hotel. It’s too bad. The good news is that you can play the golf courses without having to fork over a fortune to stay in a hotel where they just don’t care.

  Loved It!. Delicious, consistent, well-prepared food… Staff is very friendly, professional and attentive in every way.
