Awesome atmosphere. Great beer selection. Amazing food – we love places like this and had A VERY DIFFICULT TIME CHOOSING WHAT TO EAT! We will be coming back! 5 stars!
Off night???. I’ve eaten here several times in the past and have been pretty satisfied. Tonight was a different story. I went there with my kids (2) and figured we’d get a decent meal at a reasonable price. Let’s address the decent meal first. The chips and unidentified dip that are placed on table before you begin your meal were not very good. The chips were like they came out of a Dorito bag. The dip – I’m not sure what it was – I can tell you it was very bland. One kid had a salad that she reported was pretty good. The other had this jalapeno-chicken dip served with the same lame chips as the gratis that is placed on table. The spiciness of the dip overpowered everything else and killed all the flavors. The flavor was…hot. That’s it. Both kids ordered Mac n’ Cheese appetizers as their main course. There was cheese colored macaroni but couldn’t find the cheese. Seemed like a light coating of Velveeta. I – and they – expected much more. Finally, I ordered the Mahi Mahi off the special menu. There were no prices listed. That’s because they would’ve been embarrassed to list the prices. My Mahi Mahi was not served with any salad or anything else. It was a small piece of fish over rice with kale. Pretty tasty but in NO WAY should it have been $20. Shame on me for not asking for the price. Shame on the restaurant for not posting prices of specials. The dish should’ve been $14.99 – no more. For $20, there ought to have been, at minimum, a nice salad and bread. Come on, Salt. With tip, for me and two kids – $80!!! (w/2 deserts & no alcohol) Sorry Salt, you lost me on this one.
Very pleased. Had the goat cheese balls as an app: tasted great but tiny portion. Swordfish tacos and seared scallop entrees were really tasty and portion size was generous. Service was a bit slow and it wasnt crowded. Overall 7/10.
Reservations Needed!. We showed up on a Sunday night and didn’t expect to be told there was a 2 hr wait for a party of 5 to get a table. Even though we should have gotten reservations in advance, we managed to fit at the bar. The service was a little slow, but the good beer selection and live singer playing classic rock kept us entertained until our food arrived. No complaints on the food, everything was cooked wonderfully. I’m definitely going back, but I’ve learned my lesson for next time: Get a reservation, especially for a weekend dinner service.
Great food, cool atmosphere, slow service though.
The coolest restaurant on this stretch of the world. Great food, fun live music, friendly good natured people. Quality and coolness feels Like it belongs in say….Morristown. Definitely recommend!
Obscenely slow service, granted we had a big group but we made a reservation over a month in advance, so they had more than enough time to staff properly. Took almost 2 hours to get a generic burger that was cold. Took another 45 mins to get a warmer burger… Expensive food for generic meal. Will NOT be returning.
