Been getting better. We like the SQD. Didnt care for the breakfast a few years back. But they must have changed cooks recently. They have specials that are interesting & very tasty. Cant find anything like that around here, even for breakfast.. Went there yesterday for lunch. had the special called Thanksgiving all year & my husband had the fat queen. Both were very good! The cook came out to say hello and showed me there new kids menu ( I have 2 little ones) and asked if my kids would like it? that was awsome.

Grew up in the area and have been going to this diner since high school. Went there tonight with my husband and kids and I will never go back! The waitress was rude and awful. A few of our meals were missing some items and when we mentioned this to her when she finally came back to check on us she had an attitude. At no point did she offer to replace anything or compensate us. Actually at the end of the meal, my husband was looking over the bill and she walked over, took it out of his hand and said I forgot to charge you for something! My entire meal had a bad taste. It was gross!!! So many better places in the area. Don’t waste your money! Not to mention they haven’t changed there decor in a few decades. The whole atmosphere is gross and depressing.

Never went to a place where they show there customers that they care about them. Definetly a family place with good service, & great food. We love the Sussex Queen!
Very Friendly. If you want good food friendly service nd low prices this is where ya wanna be… The moment you walk threw that door your greeted than seated than greeted by one of there many sweet servers. They can make your evening a long one or short which ever you prefer. They even have a back dinning room u may sit in if youd like specail occasion romantic evening. Your fully served and treated like a customer should be. And u must have thee CHOC LAYER cake it AMAZING!!!!
Excellent Diner!. This diner has thee friendliest servers..Great food…Cheap prices but the quality is deffintly there. Managment has not changed but the bad eggs have def been replaced
