The food is soooo good!. I pass Asia Star everyday to and from work and wanted to try them out. The food is fantastic, they have a very diverse menu. The service is wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful. I went there three days in a row. Once with my daughter, the next day with my daughter and her friend and then with my daughter and my nephew. Everyone really enjoyed their food. This is now my go-to chinese restaurant.
Very upscale. Very good food, only Asian restaurant I know if with Lamb on the menu. Service is most professional and courteous with a watchful eye towards customer service. Impressive. Prices are moderate and their plate presentations are quite artistic. Worth coming back here.
TERRIBLE!. I recently moved down to Tinton Falls and wanted to try this place out. Now that I’ve been here twice I can honestly say this place consistently sucks because both times I was very disappointed. My first experience was with the Sesame chicken lunch special and an Eel Roll. The Sesame chicken was doughy, soft, and oily. Hardly any flavor. Their veggie fried rice has only 2 veggies, frozen peas and carrots. The hot and sour soup is absolute garbage. There was no eel in the eel roll. I gave it a couple weeks and decided I would try the Chicken and Eggplant in Garlic sauce. AGAIN, chicken is bland, the sauce is masked with sugar and has almost no flavor, and worst of all no garlic…and they dont tell you it has bell peppers in it. Nasty. The only good thing in this dish was the white rice. They skimp you on the quality and over charge you for what they offer. THIS PLACE SUCKS! PERIOD. You want real chinese food? Exit 120 on the Parkway north, make a right, turn into the first shopping center on your right side. There is a place called Mings Garden. I lived up there for 20 years and the place hasnt failed me once. The food is amazing and a lot cheaper than Asia Star. I NEVER write reviews but I hate this place too much not to. ASIA STAR IS GARBAGE.
Love good fried rice and can’t understand why a Chinese restaurant can’t make good fresh fried rice. Tried this place for the first time last week and the pork fried rice was amazing! A few dollars more than the place I was getting it from but so worth it. It was fresh and cooked perfectly and soooo much flavor! Best around!
After a long day…… Quick stop at Asia Star takeout. for Christy and me
Great atmosphere, huge menu of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Sushi….I’m spoiled with great food in San Fran, Nyc, Toronto and this is the only Asian restaurant I would even consider besides Siam Garden in Red Bank. Def worth the drive
